I am creating this fundraiser to ask for help to restore the house where my dad, 81 years old, lives.
La Maison du Rey has a rich history in Capbreton.
My parents did everything to honor Henri IV's passage in Capbreton.
However, their financial and physical means limited them in restoring this house.
Today, my mother is no longer with us, and my father does not have the capacity to act.
I appeal to all charitable souls to contribute to the repair of the roof and the electrical refurbishment and thus restore its "Remarquable".
We would like to be able to reopen the house to visitors during Heritage Days.

Historical description:
Capbreton was, in the Middle Ages, a very active seaport. La Maison du Rey is one of the rare witnesses that remain from this flourishing era. The most interesting façade is on rue Lartigau.
A first level in masonry reinforced by a protective bahut is pierced by a window and a door right in the center. The upper floor rests on corbelled joists and consists of three superimposed rows of relieving elements in the form of Saint Andrew's crosses.
Two rectangular wooden-framed windows open in the middle of the façade. The gable is reinforced with small posts. The rest of the house is built in masonry. The street-facing façade of the Priory has a window opened within the traces of a former mullioned window.
