On June 13, Frédéric's life was turned upside down.
His boat, Namasté, a Bavaria 46 on which he lived and worked daily, lost its mast. The mast fell into the water, causing the boat to come apart and creating several breaches in the hull.
In an instant, Frédéric lost far more than a boat.
Namasté was both his home and his livelihood.
For several years, Frédéric has been introducing the Antilles to those who come aboard for multi-day sailing trips. He shares his daily life, his experience of the sea and, above all, his love for these islands that he knows and reveals in a different way.
Today he finds himself without a boat and therefore without a home, and also without his means of work.
To help him recover and resume his activity, he now needs to find a new boat.
That's why we decided to launch this fundraiser with a target of €20,000, to provide him with initial support to help him get through this particularly difficult stage and to consider rebuilding his activity.
Of course, €20,000 won't by itself replace the boat he lost. But this amount can be a real boost to help him recover and get back to sea.
