We are two teachers (in Physical Education and History-Geography) at the École professionnelle Saint-Nicolas de Namur (https://epsis-saint-nicolas-namur.be/)**, and we have a dream for our final-year students: to offer them an unforgettable end-of-studies trip before they leave the school benches and enter working life.

From 18 to 26 May 2026, we wish to take this group of students to northern Morocco, to discover Tangier, Tetouan and the blue alleys of Chefchaouen.

Why is this trip essential?

For many of our young people, coming from sometimes very difficult social and financial backgrounds, this trip represents a very first. For most, they have never had the opportunity to leave Belgium or to take a plane.

The trip is a true school of life. Beyond the change of scenery, it is a unique opportunity to:

Grow and gain maturity: Leave their comfort zone, learn to live in a group 24/7 and face the unknown.

Open up to the world: Discover a new culture, new traditions and change their perspective on the world around them.

Create lasting memories: Close their school journey with a positive and formative experience that will mark them for life.

A program blending culture and adrenaline

Thanks to the dual expertise of our supervisory team (History-Geography and Physical Education), the program will be rich and balanced:

Cultural discoveries: Immersive visits of the cities (Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen) to understand local history and geography, meetings and exchanges with the inhabitants. 

Personal challenge (sports/nature): Hiking, mountain biking, canyoning and climbing.

Relaxation and cohesion: Spontaneous sports activities on the beach and moments of sharing.

Why do we need you?

Last year, we managed to take a group to Minorca (Spain) by raising 3 000 € thanks to seeking local sponsors (feel free to check the video and photos of this incredible adventure on the school's website and social networks!).


This year, to minimize families' participation costs and make this trip accessible to all our final-year students, we aim higher with a target of 3 000 € via this solidarity fundraiser.
