📍 In the heart of the Rif mountains, about 30 km from Targuist, lies our village. It's a beautiful but very isolated place: to reach the paved road, you must travel an unpaved track of more than 20 km, difficult to access, especially in winter.
Here, the mosque is much more than a place of prayer. It is the heart of village life: we gather there to pray, learn, celebrate festivals and share. Today, it needs to be renovated and enlarged to continue fulfilling this role.

🛠️ OUR PROJECT
✅ Renovation of the prayer hall: beautification, painting, laying of the floor screed, installation of woodwork and zellige
✅ Waterproofing work to protect the building
✅ Construction of sanitary facilities
✅ Installation of hot water
✅ Creation of a dedicated space for women
✅ Construction of a kouttab for teaching and memorization of the Qur'an to children
✅ Construction of housing for the imam
✅ Construction of a guesthouse (Bayt Ibn Sabil) to accommodate passing travelers

⛰️ A SPECIFIC CHALLENGE
Due to the village's isolation, transporting building materials and carrying out the works is a real challenge, and therefore more costly. Your support is essential.

Here, the mosque is more than just a place of prayer; it is the heart of village life: we meet there to pray, learn, celebrate festivals and bond. Today, it needs renovation and expansion so it can continue to fulfill this role.
