EVERY WE'RE is going to Syria.**
As you know, an earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck Turkey and Syria.
The casualty toll is increasing by the hour. According to provisional reports, there are already tens of thousands of wounded. The damage, both human and material, is enormous, with several thousand collapsed buildings.
At the international level, humanitarian aid is struggling to reach Syria, due to the country's socio-political context and the international sanctions applied against it. Moreover, the small amount of material aid arriving on site compared with the urgent needs does not always reach the entire population, given the emergency of the situation.
It is imperative to act as quickly as possible. Existing hospitals in the affected regions are struggling to provide emergency care. The war in Syria had already previously weakened the city's structures (between missiles and gunfire) and had created a disparity of wealth increasing exponentially the level of poverty in the country. Entire families are now on the streets, without roofs or shelters, facing the winter cold. The coming days, weeks and months are likely to be very harsh…
Thus, EVERY WE'RE has released an emergency aid fund and is launching a call for solidarity to assist the victims of this catastrophe on the ground. Your donation will finance food aid, clothing, medical care, hygiene, etc.
A team will travel to the area to provide direct assistance to the populations affected by this catastrophe.
