Today I want to tell you about Flo, our mate who will turn 40 next year, a father of two children (one 5 years old and the other 8 months), a passionate, generous man always ready to enjoy life.
He is also an avid sports enthusiast and an enduro mountain biker — a passion that stands for freedom, self‑challenge, adrenaline and sharing. Those who know him understand how much this sport is part of his life.
Unfortunately, during a mountain bike outing last week in Chamonix, Flo suffered a serious accident that caused tetraplegia and has left him unable to be mobile.
Today he must learn to live with a reality completely different from the one he knew. Daily tasks, mobility, his home, his equipment, his independence… everything must be rethought.
There is also a family that must adapt to this new life. And above all, there are two children who need their dad.
We want to be there for him and his family today, but also for his future.
Because at this stage no one knows how far Flo will recover, we want to give him every possible chance so he can receive the best rehabilitation, specialized care and support, adapted equipment, technologies that can improve his independence, and all solutions that can contribute to improving his physical condition and daily life.
