Life puts barrier after barrier in your way, but don’t get discouraged — if you can’t overcome them, go around them and adapt! For now, I’ve only had bad news and refusals everywhere; it’s almost been 8 months that I’ve been in this bed, stuck with constant pain and other problems piling up, but I don’t want pity.
I’m a fighter, I’m 23 years old and I won’t resign myself to this life within four walls like a lion in a cage! If there’s no solution in one place, I’ll look elsewhere: depression is not in my philosophy. I’ll search everywhere until I find those who want to help me!
Today, I’m aware of the reality of my deteriorating condition. And all I want is to be able to have a decent life and to get out of my house.
I rarely ask others for help but I need it now.
I would need an electric wheelchair adapted to my situation, one that would allow me to recline and therefore get out of my house. My independence depends on a wheelchair, but it comes at a cost. So I’m asking all of you if you can help me according to your means.
