The Muslim community of Le Locle is selling its current place of worship to acquire a larger one, suited to its families and children. We are missing CHF 500 000 (approx. €535,000) to finalize the acquisition, and time is running out.
What your donation funds
A building in the heart of Le Locle, with the space intended for the mosque and classes for children, as well as residential units and a commercial space already rented. These rents will not go into private hands: they will sustainably finance the mosque’s operations, the Saturday school and youth activities. This is the very principle of the waqf, a property that produces for the community, generation after generation.

The property is on the market and other buyers are interested. Every week counts. An opportunity like this, in a town like ours, will not come again.
If the goal is not reached
Funds collected remain exclusively allocated to the Al-Badr Mosque real estate project in Le Locle. Any donor who wishes may request a refund of their donation by writing to the contact below.
Who receives the funds
The Al-Badr Mosque, in connection with the WAKEF-SUISSE Foundation (CHE-114.901.246), a Swiss foundation under federal supervision and equipped with an external auditing body. Funds are exclusively allocated to the acquisition of the new place of worship in Le Locle. Project accounts will be published at the end of the campaign.
