Hello everyone, we introduce ourselves: we are initially a group of strangers who decided to mobilize for a common goal: "Mutual aid"
More than 2,000 homeless people die each year in France, on average at the age of 49. Nearly 200,000 people were homeless in France in 2019. The statistics keep rising.
We pass people in precarious situations every day—next to the Monoprix, next to the LCL ATMs, at red lights; they are with us, they are in us, yet we pretend not to see them. How many hurried women and men avert their gaze, change their path to avoid any contact with this weakened human being who brings them back to their deepest fears.
We must fight selfishness and individualism... Promoting mutual aid, sharing, support and, above all, kindness.
Project: We are coming together to fight this cause that is dear to us and that strengthens our bonds! We have decided to organize a maraude to help people without fixed housing (commonly called SDF). Don’t forget that we too could find ourselves in this situation, so let’s make an effort to help our neighbor.
Sharing simple moments that will remain forever engraved in our hearts and in theirs.
To reach our goal we need you! Without you the project cannot succeed; that is why today we are asking for your support. Know that even 0,05 centimes can help, know that even a smile can help them.
Let’s stop looking away, let’s stop ignoring them—let’s share moments with them, talk and exchange with them and not leave them aside; let’s show humanity.
People without fixed housing have been experiencing a real crisis since the start of the Covid19 epidemic; they need us, our support, and not to feel forgotten.
They need care, food, human warmth, solidarity!!
