Today, I am going to tell you about the invisible but very real fight that Hugo is living.

Since 2019, his daily life has been turned upside down. What started as simple headaches has, over the years, turned into constant, overwhelming, and now unbearable suffering. After many fainting spells, emergency room visits and a long medical wandering, he understood that he was suffering from electromagnetic hypersensitivity to high frequencies (radio, mobile phone, wifi…), low frequencies (electricity) and climatic variations (natural electromagnetic fields).

Since December 2021, he has been on unpaid sick leave, can no longer work and has the RSA as his only income.
A disease still not recognized, without treatment, without solution... but which is gradually destroying his life.

Today, at 27 years old, his life is a daily struggle, a survival.
My friend is forced to live isolated, in a space of only 4 m2, without electricity or running water, protected as best as possible by shielding fabrics (Faraday cage). Leaving this space exposes him to extreme physical pain: violent migraines, dizziness, breathing problems, fainting... His body can no longer tolerate what most of us do not even feel, electromagnetic fields being everywhere and his sensitivities being very high (immune reactions).
He can no longer work or have a social life, he who was a corporate real estate consultant and had a full and fulfilling social life.
He depends entirely on his parents for every basic daily need as well as for communication with the outside world, with which he can only communicate by letter.
His daily activities now amount to reading, doing paper puzzles, or sometimes board games when friends come to see him. Unfortunately, these pastimes are becoming rarer and rarer; his closer circle continues their lives leaving him behind, which drastically reduces visits from the people dear to him just to chat and check in.

In winter, in this small outbuilding at the bottom of his parents’ garden, only a small gas heater protects him from the cold, and still, temperatures drop to 8° at night and barely reach 18° during the day.
In 4 m² Hugo “lives”, sleeps, eats, washes, and relieves himself.
Damp and mold are ubiquitous, all lit by candles, and to all this are added pain and loneliness.

Everything has been tried. Answers have been sought from scientists around the world and particularly with the CNRS – National Center for Scientific Research.
Hugo has read, learned, solicited and participated in study projects, he hoped when he still could. He is still in contact with these research teams.
But today, he is exhausted. Physically. Mentally. His health, meanwhile, only worsens with a new relay antenna installed and directed toward his home and placed only 2.5 km away, which led to his life in 4 m² since 12/05/2025, so for more than a year now.

His only wish is to “get his old life back”... that is impossible today, he would simply like to live with a minimum of dignity.

Create a healthier and more livable living space, shielded, a little larger, a little warmer with possibly a fireplace, a place where he could “breathe” without suffering so much and at least stretch his legs.
That is why we are reaching out to you.
Every donation, even the smallest, is a chance to offer him a little respite, a little humanity in this unbearable daily life.
If you cannot give, sharing his story is already a huge help.
For the creation of this living room, nearly €30,000 are required, nearly €5,000 just for the anti-wave shielding (the fitting-out work will be carried out by his parents and friends, which saves on labor costs).
This room will be connected neither to running water (too complex and costly) nor to electricity.
The chosen solution will be modular construction (Algeco-type) because the goal remains to find a “white zone” (network-free zone) near his current place of residence and to be able to move this structure there; this zone has still not been found.
