L’accès à l’eau potable reste un défi majeur en Gambie, en particulier pour les structures accueillant des enfants vulnérables.

À travers cette cagnotte CotizUp, nous souhaitons financer la construction de 4 puits d’eau potable dans 4 orphelinats et madrassah, afin d’améliorer durablement les conditions de vie des enfants qui y sont hébergés.

💧 Pourquoi ce projet ?

Dans de nombreux orphelinats et madrassah, l’eau est rare, parfois insalubre, et nécessite de longs déplacements quotidiens.

Un puits permet :

• un accès permanent à une eau potable et sécurisée

• une meilleure hygiène (santé, lavage, cuisine)

• un gain de temps pour les enfants et le personnel

• une réduction des maladies hydriques

🎯 Objectif de la cagnotte

La cagnotte servira à financer :

• le forage des 4 puits

• le matériel nécessaire (pompes, sécurisation)

• l’installation et la mise en service

• la maintenance de base

Chaque puits sera construit au sein d’un orphelinat et madrassah différent, afin d’aider un maximum d’enfants.

Construction of 4 Wells for 4 Orphanages and Madrassah in The Gambia

Access to clean drinking water remains a major challenge in The Gambia, especially for facilities caring for vulnerable children.

Through this CotizUp fundraising campaign, we aim to finance the construction of 4 clean water wells in 4 orphanages and madrassah, in order to sustainably improve the living conditions of the children.

💧 Why this project?

In many orphanages and madrassah, water is scarce, sometimes unsafe, and requires long daily trips.

A well provides:

• permanent access to safe drinking water

• improved hygiene and health

• time savings for children and staff

• a reduction in waterborne diseases

🎯 Fundraising goal

The funds raised will be used to cover:

• drilling of the 4 wells

• necessary equipment (pumps, safety installations)

• installation and commissioning

• basic maintenance

Each well will be built in a different orphanage, allowing us to help as many children as possible.
