The Geneva KapDanse Club and the Ballroom Dancing Club Geneva - the two Geneva dance sport clubs affiliated with the Swiss Dance Sport Federation (FSDS) - joined forces in 2022 to organize an exceptional event, the Geneva Dance Cup.
While many competitions take place each year in German-speaking Switzerland in the disciplines of Latin and Standard couple dances, Geneva is hosting, for the first time in many years, a top-level competition at the Swiss level. The best dancers in the discipline will compete for the title of Swiss 10-dance Champions in each age category, from children to seniors.
During the day, the qualifying rounds of the Swiss championship will take place, along with Latin and Standard dance competitions in all age categories. In the evening the championship finals and the crowning of the champions will be held, as well as a dance evening open to everyone, to share a convivial moment around dance. This event represents a unique opportunity for Geneva to take its place in this sport, which embodies elegance, grace and sporting performance.
