For 17 long years, Adil has suffered from myopathy, a disease that progressively weakens his muscles and has deprived him of all autonomy. Today, he depends entirely on another person to perform essential daily tasks.
Despite the illness and all these years of suffering, Adil remains a young man full of dreams and hope. His greatest wish is to be able to receive treatment, live with dignity and regain some independence.
After many procedures, Adil has finally secured a medical consultation appointment in France. This consultation represents a true ray of hope: it will allow doctors to assess his condition and determine the care he might receive.
This fundraiser aims to gather the funds necessary for his trip to France, the consultation, and any tests, treatments and expenses related to his medical care. No definitive cost estimate can yet be established, as the next steps in his care will depend on the doctors' conclusions.
