💧 A WELL FOR A VILLAGE IN SENEGAL 🇸🇳
The association Graine 2 Vie is launching a new project that is particularly close to our hearts: the construction of a well in an isolated village in Senegal, where access to drinking water is still very difficult today.
It should be known that it is women and children who walk for kilometers, sometimes even at the risk of their lives, crossing relatively dangerous areas that contain various snakes and scorpions, and who, moreover, are poorly or not at all shod.
They return with their arms loaded with heavy jerrycans and with huge basins filled with water on their heads.
Water that stagnates in the open air and that, over the days, becomes non-potable, yet young and old are nevertheless forced to drink it, with significant consequences for their health.
💙 We have therefore decided to act.
This is not our first project: since the creation of Graine 2 Vie, we have already been fortunate to carry out several concrete actions in the field. This one is particularly close to our hearts, given how important it is.
Water is life! 💧
