Hello,
On May 30, 2025, my life changed in a few seconds.
During a hike in Switzerland, I fell several meters and suffered a severe spinal cord injury.
Since that day, I have been paraplegic.
Before my accident, I could go out whenever I wanted, work, see my friends, travel, make plans, drive my car or simply get some fresh air without having to think about it.
Today, everything is different.
After more than a year of rehabilitation, I had to move back in with my parents, to an apartment located on the third floor without an elevator, which is not adapted to my wheelchair.
Some doors are too narrow. I can’t go downstairs on my own. Leaving my home, visiting someone or simply enjoying the outdoors has become extremely complicated.
Before, I could do things without thinking. Today, even the smallest trip requires help, time and a lot of organization.
Despite everything, I refuse to remain without a solution.
For a long time, I no longer really felt that things could change. Then I discovered a specialized neurological rehabilitation center in Turkey 🇹🇷
For the first time in a long time, I found hope again.
This program offers much more intensive rehabilitation, with adapted equipment, specialized technologies and support that could allow me to work more on my mobility and my autonomy.
I don’t know how far my body can recover and I don’t want to promise any miracles.
But today, this care represents for me a real chance to keep moving forward and to give myself every possibility to progress.
I want to be able to try.
The problem is that this program represents a very significant cost. In addition there are transport, accommodation, consultations, examinations, adapted equipment and all expenses related to my disability.
That is why I need you today.
Your help can allow me to continue this rehabilitation and to keep moving forward, without having to give up simply for lack of means.
I don’t know exactly where this path will lead me.
But I know that I want, one day, to be able to tell myself that I did everything possible to regain the maximum autonomy and resume my life.
