On the night of April 30 to May 1, 2024, we suffered a terrible fire at the Ferme de Gorgeat. That night I lost a significant part of my professional activity: 4 out of 5 rooms are severely damaged, forcing me to cancel all upcoming reservations and to suspend my activity for an indefinite period. I am now looking for new employment.
I welcome individuals, groups, families and professionals year‑round in a place full of charm and authenticity. For 10 years, we had done everything to renovate and to continue preserving and enhancing both the interiors and the exteriors.
But I can no longer receive guests in a site that is dilapidated and under repair.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to supplement what the insurance will cover in a few months so I can restart my activity (and my only source of income, I should point out) as quickly and as fully as possible.
Every contribution is a source of gratitude for the outpouring of solidarity that moves you today — and will help me bounce back more quickly.
