Let's provide access to clean drinking water for an orphanage in Cameroon
Every morning, at the orphanage CASON of Nkoldongo (Yaoundé, Cameroon), dozens of children start their day with an invisible struggle: finding water. Not just any water — safe, clean, secure.
Today, this gesture so ordinary for us is a daily challenge for them. Our mission: change that. For good. The association HumaniSphere is launching the project "Drilling for Hope": the construction of a sustainable potable water well at the heart of the CASON orphanage, which hosts children in situations of extreme vulnerability, some with specific health-related needs.
What your donation will make possible:
- Provide a safe, secure and permanent source of water for the children and staff
- Drastically reduce waterborne illnesses within the orphanage
- Improve the daily hygiene of the residents
- Simplify life for the whole community: less time spent searching for water, more time to study, play, and grow.
