Status update on 11/12/2022

In keeping with the spirit of transparency inherent to the action,

following the fires that occurred in Algeria last August, numerous initiatives were launched to finalize a collection of 32040€.

We thank all participants and donors including the store Mabrouki Wattrelos and Pastel FM radio.

These funds thus make it possible to carry out the planned actions.

After having

- shipped medical and clothing supplies to Algeria,

- after having contributed to the financing of the emergency outpatient project of the Mekla district,

We inform you that

The 3 other planned polyclinics (Larbaa Nait Irathen, Béni Doualla and Dellys-Sidi Daoud) will be provided with emergency equipment (Electrocardiogram, monitor, medical bed, defibrillator, emergency accessories, etc...).

The same applies to the distribution of 400 complete school kits (backpack, dictionary, calculator, notebooks, binder, fully equipped pencil case, etc...).

As usual, the handovers will be made in full transparency during the 1st semester of 2022 notably via live radio and Facebook.

A long-term action fund is being set up under the name

SOS KABYLIE ALGERIA

To finance two major actions

1/ The first in 2021: “the heart polyclinics”:

This will involve equipping emergency medical posts in polyclinics located in the affected areas - with 4 launch sites selected

Larbaa Nait Irathen - Béni Douala - Skikda - Mekla Djemaa Saharidj -

2/ The second action from spring 2022:

A HUMANIT’ART caravan will travel to the heart of the affected villages to initiate solidarity projects, support reforestation with planting of olive and fruit trees, participatory nurseries,

Support for local economic and cultural life.

3/ Also, the OPERATION SCHOOLBAG OF THE HEART continues:

Material, school and psychological support for children in difficulty
