Dear brothers and sisters,
Ramadan is about to say goodbye to us. And in this month where every ongoing charity counts, we invite you to support the orphans and widows of Gaza who are now left without shelter. The association HumanSmile is undertaking an emergency project: to provide 250 warm tents for the orphans and widows of Gaza, offering them food and care. 🇵🇸
These quality tents are specially designed for disaster contexts. Each tent can shelter up to 5 people. ⛺️
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels. More than a million children are suffering the direct consequences of this tragedy. According to UNICEF, more than 17 000 children are now unaccompanied, either orphaned or separated from their families. 🚨
The urgency of the situation on the ground does not allow us to start permanent constructions to host these children. After consultations with our staff on site, we have chosen to set up a tent camp where these newly formed families could find refuge. 🤲🏼🧕🏼
By reaching the amount of this fundraiser, 250 tents and therefore 250 reconstituted families will be housed and cared for.
⛺️🍽️ THE PRICE OF A TENT THAT CAN ACCOMMODATE 5 PEOPLE AS WELL AS FOOD AND MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR A DURATION OF 1 YEAR IS 1000 EUROS.
