We are a group of brothers and sisters from the As-Sunnah mosque in Bourges. For the fourth consecutive year we are launching the 🕌 IFTAR BOX RAMADAN 2025 🕌 operation. The goal is to feed a MINIMUM of 120 needy people and students per day throughout the month of Ramadan, Insha'Allah.

Allah, exalted be He, encourages charity in His Noble Book by saying (meaning of the verse): “Men and women who give charity and who have loaned Allah a goodly loan will be repaid manifold, and they will have a generous reward.” (Quran 57:18)
We will keep you informed about the operation and the distribution of our donations, Insha'Allah, on our social networks.
GOAL 140 Meals / Day during the ENTIRE month of RAMADAN
Price of one meal (preparation / packaging / starter hot main course dessert drink) = €4
€4 X 120 people = €480 / day
€480 per day X 30 days = €14,400
€5,000 remaining to reach the goal (not counting the remaining amount from last RAMADAN)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IFTAR BOX OPERATION?
- Via this online fundraiser, otherwise on site at the As-Sunnah mosque in Bourges (at prayer times)
- If you wish to contribute by bringing dishes, please contact the mosque office.
WHAT WILL THE DONATIONS BE USED FOR?
Sadaqah donations:
They will finance:
- The purchase of food and drinks, the preparation, the purchase of supplies for the making and distribution of take-away meal boxes.
Donations as expiation : very important — PLEASE SPECIFY IN THE COMMENT IF FOR EXPIATION
Example: feeding one fasting person per day:
1 meal = €4
expiation for the entire month = €4 X 30 days = €120
ATTENTION: according to the lunar month 29 OR 30 DAYS, (if Ramadan is 29 days the 30th day is considered sadaqah)
They will be used exclusively for food. Of course you can give more to contribute to the rest (purchase of packaging ...)
