I found this little kitten last night, barely two months old, trapped in a sheep fence, alone in a secluded corner… he was very weak and must have been stuck for a long time before I discovered him there… trapped by his hind legs and neck, he was tied up and struggled in vain; this only tightened one of his hind legs, which is now disabled…. After giving first aid and consulting the veterinarian this morning, he told me that unfortunately there is nothing more to be done to save his leg… it needs to be amputated. I will not show the paw in question because it’s truly horrible; there is nothing left… you can’t even make out the pads or the claws, that’s how bad it is. This kitten is not mine, he is feral and it’s one case among so many… but here we must act for his well-being and I am asking all of you to join me in contributing to this operation, which costs 335euros minimum (estimate attached), not including first aid and post-operation care with follow-up visits, I suppose… because the town hall refuses to do anything to enforce the law… I am alone facing this rescue… I am keeping him at my home during treatment and socialization… and I’m sorry that I cannot advance the money myself. I am creating this fundraiser counting on animal lovers like me who know that with 1euro, we can change a tragic fate… we would so much like to have him operated on next week. So that he can finally move on and start the life he deserves 🫶🏼 thank you all for your support.
