Since 2015, the Pessac Mosque and its President, Mr. RIDOUANE,
have been subject to relentless actions by the Gironde prefecture and the Ministry
of the Interior.
Despite several judicial victories and an opinion unfavorable to his expulsion issued
by the COMEX in June 2024, the pressure and harassment continue to intensify.
Thus, on 5 August 2024, Mr. RIDOUANE, arrested at his home at dawn, was placed in
police custody and is now at the Mesnil-Amelot Administrative Detention Center
awaiting his deportation.
This situation is a genuine violation of freedoms and human rights.
Let us stand together against this injustice.
Also, in order to ease Mr. RIDOUANE's burden in this ordeal and to enable him to
cover the costs inherent to the procedure and to receive material and moral support,
we are launching a fundraiser and invite you to contribute and to widely share this appeal.
