ANTI-EXPULSION FUND
Solidarity with the President of our dear Pessac mosque, targeted by a prefectural expulsion procedure
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh dear brothers and sisters, dear congregants,
On Friday, May 31, 2024 an Expulsion Commission hearing will take place before the Judicial Court of Bordeaux to examine the expulsion notice issued by the Bordeaux Prefecture against Mr. Ridouane Abdourahmane.
Faced with this deeply unjust decision, we call on your unconditional support and solidarity to stand by the president of our mosque during this ordeal.
In order to make our support and solidarity concrete, we have therefore decided to open a fund to contribute to legal fees and to mitigate any financial expenses that may be incurred by our president.
For several years, the president of the Pessac mosque has devoted his time and energy to working for the well-being of our community and to defending its rights.
His commitment and devotion have greatly contributed to the prosperity and reputation of our mosque.
Every donation, however small, is precious, and if you cannot contribute financially, we count on your precious supplications and your shares.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
According to Abdallah Ibn Omar (may Allah be pleased with them), the Prophet (may the prayer of Allah and His peace be upon him) said: โA Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not oppress him nor forsake him. Whoever attends to the needs of his brother, Allah attends to his needs. Whoever relieves a Muslim of a hardship, Allah will relieve him of a hardship among the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever covers a believer (*), Allah will cover him on the Day of Resurrection.โ
