An emergency situation, but above all an opportunity

Established since 2009 in a 2,450 m² building leased from a private SCI, the Samarcande School Group offers families a Muslim-ethics educational program from CP to terminale.

At the beginning of 2025, the building owners decided to put the property up for sale. The school group stepped forward as purchaser in order to preserve the unique educational service offered to families in our region.



Thanks to the support received in 2025, major compliance works were carried out. The safety commission therefore issued a favorable opinion in December 2025.





Moreover, the promise of sale was signed in August 2025. The building owner agreed to the principle of staggered payments over a few years.

Under these conditions, purchasing the premises is within our reach! This is a great opportunity for the entire current and future educational community to preserve the institution for generations to come.



Any donation made is a lasting sadaqah that will bear fruit for its giver in this world and the hereafter as long as students study at the institution.

Cost and financing of the operation

The total cost of the purchase and bringing the premises up to standards is estimated at €2.5M.

To date, nearly €400,000 has been raised for compliance works.

The acquisition of the building will be made through several annual payments.

The first payment in June 2026 will also include notary fees. It will amount to €550,000.

Final beneficiaries of the fundraising
The direct beneficiaries of this fundraising campaign are the students and their families — current ones but especially future ones.

The successes of Samarcande are above all those of its students.

With seventeen years of experience, the Samarcande School Group achieves, cohort after cohort, a 100% pass rate at the BAC and at the collège Brevet.







In secondary and higher education, its alumni have the skills, knowledge and methods that open the doors to ambitious further studies.



Families, some present since the beginning, show their trust through their loyalty to the school. Although they are mainly from our conurbation, several have not hesitated to move from the Paris region or other parts of France to be closer to the school. Samarcande’s reputation is gradually built through its results and the dedication of its teachers.

Thus, in 2015 Samarcande became the first institution in the Paris region to sign an association contract with the State. To date, three out of four middle school classes operate under this status.

The Institut de formation de SQY aims to promote academic success, training and individual development through various activities.

It carries out all training, teaching and educational activities as well as any cultural, artistic, scientific or sporting activity necessary to achieve the Institute's objectives.

As such, it legally assumes the creation and management of training and educational institutions.

The Institute’s services are intended for both adults and minors.

The management of the Institute is entirely voluntary and cannot result in any direct or indirect distribution of profit.

The Institute is authorized by the tax administration to issue tax receipts.
