It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking story of Kamilia, an adorable 11-month-old baby who is battling spinal muscular atrophy. This cruel disease robs her of the ability to sit or stand upright, trapping her innocence in a fragile body.
Kamilia's parents have already endured the unimaginable, losing two of their precious children to the same disease at the ages of 6 and 5 months respectively. Today, their courage and determination are being tested as they fight to save their last hope, their beloved baby.
Thanks to God, a treatment exists. However, this vital and costly treatment amounts to €8000 every 39 days, a sum that Kamilia's parents cannot afford. They have already exhausted all their resources for the first box of medication, but now, as time is running out, they are turning to us for the assistance needed for the next box.
