Imagine a classroom where bright, curious and hopeful children… are sitting on the bare floor for lack of furniture.

In Gbegbomey, a small isolated lakeside village in Benin, hundreds of pupils learn every day without desks or benches. They kneel, sit on bricks, or stand for hours just to follow their lessons. And yet, they keep coming to school, smiling and eager to learn.

Our NGO went on site. We saw these children. We spoke with the teachers. Their only dream? To give their students a little more dignity, comfort and opportunity.

🎯 Our goal is simple but vital: provide new, sturdy two-seater desk-benches so every child can sit and learn in proper conditions.

🙏 A FIRST STEP HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN!

Thanks to the generosity of people who believed in this project and supported us, 30 desk-benches have already been funded, manufactured and officially handed over to EPP Gbegbomey on September 21, 2026. 🎉

These 30 desk-benches represent much more than furniture.

They are extra seats for learning.
They are children who can now sit in better conditions.
They are a concrete first step toward our goal of 115 desk-benches.

📸 Photos of the handover of the desk-benches to the school are attached.

To everyone who contributed to this first step: THANK YOU. ❤️
Your contribution has already produced a visible result on the ground.

✊ BUT WE ARE NOT DONE YET!

The school still needs furniture.

Our objective remains to help provide a total of 115 desk-benches.

There is therefore still much to do.

And it is now that we need you most.

❤️ Every new contribution can bring us closer to our goal.

❤️ Your donation can change a life.
    •    👧 €5 helps manufacture part of a desk-bench.
    •    👦 €10 helps co-finance a desk-bench for 2 students.
    •    👨‍🏫 €50 already provides a desk-bench for 2 students.

    •    👦👦 €100 or more can equip an entire classroom if we give together.

🎁 With a donation of €50, you give a desk-bench to two students — and if you wish, your name can be inscribed on it to celebrate your gesture.

Every donation, however small, brings us closer to a fairer world where education is not a luxury but a right.

📢 What we will do with your help:
    •    Manufacture the desk-benches locally with village craftsmen.
    •    Deliver and install them in the classrooms.
    •    Set up follow-up to ensure maintenance and durability.

💬 A word from the field
