🐾 SOS GUADELOUPE: LET’S HELP FOSTER FAMILIES CONTINUE SAVING LIVES ❤️
In Guadeloupe, abandonments are increasing, animals are suffering and foster families are running out of resources.
I myself was a foster family for 30 cats rescued in pitiful conditions. Abandoned animals, malnourished, sick, sometimes victims of abuse, who simply needed a roof, food, care and a chance to survive.

Today, the situation in Guadeloupe is alarming. Abandonments, cases of malnutrition and acts of cruelty are multiplying.

💔 The last rescue that particularly shook me concerns a puppy whose two legs were cut off with machete blows.

How can anyone sink to such barbarity toward a defenseless animal?

In Guadeloupe, we do not have enough shelters to take in all these animals in distress.

Animal protection associations operate essentially thanks to donations and the dedication of volunteers.

But there is an indispensable link, too often forgotten: THE FOSTER FAMILIES.

They are the ones who open their doors, offer a roof, safety, attention and love to the rescued animals while waiting for their adoption.

And yet, these families are very few and do not always receive the material help they need.

🙏 That is why I am launching this fundraiser to support volunteer foster families in Guadeloupe.

The money collected will be used to finance only their essential needs:

* 🐱 Food and kibble to feed the animals taken in.
* 💊 Dewormers to protect them against internal parasites.
* 🧺 Litter to guarantee decent hygiene conditions for the cats taken in.
* 🤰🏻 Spay/neuter stray female dogs and cats who are not fortunate enough to be taken in by associations and have no foster families, with the aim of preventing repeated litters.

These three personal expenses (food, dewormers, litter) may seem simple, but when you host several animals they represent a huge budget, renewed every month.

I know this from having hosted 30 cats myself.

Foster families already give a great deal of their time, space and energy. They should not have to bear all these expenses alone.

Without them, associations could not place as many animals in safety, organize their care and give them a chance to be adopted.

💔 If foster families can no longer take animals in for lack of means, it will be the animals who pay the price.

We are not asking to fund luxuries. We are simply asking to be able to fill bowls, buy litter and deworm the animals taken in.

A donation of a few euros may seem small, but for a foster family it is precious help.

Each contribution helps relieve these volunteers and maintain places for the next animals that will need to be rescued.

❤️ Helping a foster family allows an association to continue its rescues. It gives an abandoned animal a chance to live and be adopted.

Today we need solidarity, because animals cannot wait.

Let us not leave foster families alone facing this animal distress.
