Today, we appeal to your generosity and solidarity to help our cousin, who is going through an especially difficult ordeal.

Our cousin, originally from Tan-Tan in southern Morocco, is currently hospitalized in Casablanca. His life was suddenly turned upside down by a serious illness.

He was diagnosed with colon cancer and had to undergo an initial surgery to remove part of his colon. This operation alone cost approximately 60,000 dirhams (DH).

Without the necessary financial means and not currently working, his children had to borrow money from several people to finance this operation and ensure his care. Today, these sums must be repaid, even as medical expenses continue to pile up.

A medical situation made even heavier

When he began his treatment and chemotherapy, doctors also discovered that he suffers from a serious kidney problem requiring dialysis sessions three times a week.

He must also continue his cancer treatment. Each chemotherapy session costs about 2,000 DH, at a rate of two sessions per month, for a treatment estimated at around 12 sessions in total.

This alone represents about 24,000 DH for chemotherapy, in addition to the costs already incurred for the operation, dialysis, medications, medical exams, travel between Tan-Tan and Casablanca, accommodation and daily expenses.

❤️ A family that needs our solidarity

Today, the family faces an extremely difficult financial situation. The children have already done everything they could, going so far as to go into debt with relatives and acquaintances to save their father, but they now have to repay these debts while continuing to fund his care.

That is why we decided to launch this fundraiser to help them cope with these expenses and allow our cousin to continue his treatments without financial difficulties making this ordeal even harder.
