In the village of Kandialon, in southern Senegal, the main mosque is in an advanced state of disrepair.
❌ The walls are cracked. The roof is weakened. The rainy season is coming — and it could make everything collapse.

And yet… every Friday, hundreds of worshippers gather there despite the danger.
Why? Because they have no other place to pray in the village. Elderly men. Children. Whole families. All pray under a roof that could give way.

🕌 Our mission: rebuild before the next rains
We are launching this fundraiser to lay the first stones of a dignified, durable and safe place of worship for generations.
The project includes:

🏗️ Rebuilding the roof and reinforcing the walls
🕌 A larger prayer area that meets standards

🚪 Dignified access for all, including the elderly

To demolish dangerous structures, rebuild the walls and roof, and provide the whole village with a safe place of prayer before the rainy season.
The mosque of the village of Kandialon, in southern Senegal, is in an advanced state of disrepair. It must be demolished soon. The inhabitants — men, women, children — risk being left without a place to pray in the middle of the rainy season.
