Nizar TALIB, a 5-year-old Moroccan child who lives with his very modest parents in Marrakech and who has been suffering since the age of 8 months from a severe Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-Obstruction.
Following a massive abdominal distension that did not resolve after stopping oral intake and various medical procedures, Moroccan doctors performed a diverting colostomy at the level of the transverse colon. As a result, the little child now has a portion of his colon outside his abdomen.
We sent his medical file to Necker–Enfants Malades Hospital, which confirmed that the only solution to save little Nizar is an intestinal transplant that will cost about €100,000.
This little child, Nizar, has not had the chance to eat, play or enjoy life like other children; since his birth he has only known hospitals and medical treatments.
We must save soldier Nizar, this little soldier who has been fighting for four years against this terrible disease with courage and bravery, and he has only the weapon of hope for a better life.
Nizar is our child, and we must do everything to save him and improve his daily life, in the name of universal charity and in the name of humanity.
To save a child is to save the whole world.
