This is a man I know personally. He came to Belgium 21 years ago. He received state assistance for 19 years. For the past 2 years he survived thanks to his savings and the help of others. Now his situation has severely worsened (mainly health problems). The man in question has NO papers, and no papers means no state assistance... he sleeps here and there and sometimes on the street. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help him financially so that he can rent a room for a while and try to find a small job. Whatever the amount, everyone can contribute to this fund.
