Mourad, 40 years old, originally from and living in Anaba, Algeria, needs the solidarity of his sisters and brothers who will learn of this call for help.
Our brother Mourad is very weakened and his days are numbered.
He is the carrier of a primitive Budd-Chiari syndrome due to obstruction of the 3 VHS at the stage of decompensated cirrhosis with hemorrhagic, neuropsychiatric and ascitic presentations; he is a candidate for an urgent liver transplant.
In short, Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) is a liver disease caused by obstruction of the liver's venous drainage pathways: hepatic veins or the terminal segment of the inferior vena cava.
Mourad is ravaged by the disease and has undergone true physical transformations.
Our brother is the father of three children, which of course touches and moves us deeply.
Our brother is but a shadow of himself; we must act quickly.
His situation and condition are more than worrying. The ascites is very pronounced and greatly hinders our brother, preventing him from moving and compressing his thoracic cavity, making his breathing difficult.
Without care as soon as possible, Mourad will not survive his condition and will leave a wife and children, which we must avoid at all costs.
His weight loss has been dramatic, and our brother can no longer feed himself or move.
He has lost his autonomy even for his basic needs.
Here is Mourad before the onset of his terrible illness.
We have contacted a facility in Turkey with which we have been working for two years and which has successfully transplanted around twenty of our patients.

Mourad, very weakened, had a fall last night, hitting his bathtub.
Our brother complains of very severe chest pain.
He also has difficulty swallowing and chokes on water.

Notre frère quitte l Algérie.
Votre charité est merveilleuse et nous sommes très émus ce soir du départ de notre frère vers,nous le souhaitons, la guérison.
