30 days to save 3-year-old Sofia

Sofia is a 3-year-old girl from the village of Sidi Kacem in Morocco and has been suffering from an aggressive stage 4 brain tumor since she was one and a half years old.

**She has already undergone a first operation in Morocco, but unfortunately it was not conclusive. Only 80% of the tumor could be removed. A drain was placed to treat the hydrocephalus.

Sofia's parents saw her progress in learning to walk come to an abrupt halt; she also experienced loss of balance.

After examinations, the verdict fell. Their beloved daughter is suffering from a cancer in her head, taking away the joy that every parent can feel with a healthy child, giving way to the nightmare of illness.

This was followed by long and painful chemotherapy sessions for a year, as well as physiotherapy.

At age 3, Sofia began to have balance problems again and unfortunately the tumor returned and progressed very rapidly in a short time.
