There were 9. Today, nearly 70 depend entirely on us to survive.
L’Arche d’ENNAMIA is launching this fundraiser today as an emergency.
Because by constantly trying to save, protect and never looking away… we have reached our limits.
It all started with a few dogs living on a construction site in Morocco.
There were only 9 of them.
We were quietly feeding them, trying to protect them, buying time in the hope of being able to sterilize them quickly.
But for lack of sufficient resources, pregnancies followed one another.
Puppies were born one after the other.
And today, there are nearly 70. Maybe even more.
70 lives growing up among concrete, danger, hunger and uncertainty.
For months, we have been leaving kibble at the site with the construction guard, whom we also pay to watch over them and prevent them from being chased away or poisoned.
But the construction is coming to an end.
And today, the threats are becoming real.
The developer regularly talks about calling the pound to “take care of the problem.”
And unfortunately we know what that can mean for them.
We are trying to hold on.
To negotiate.
To find solutions.
But without help, we won’t be able to continue for long.
This fundraiser will first be used to rescue the dogs from the site:
🐾 put them to safety
✂️ spay and neuter them
🏥 treat the most vulnerable
🍖 feed them
🛖 fund enclosures and shelter spots so they don’t end up on the street or in the pound
But unfortunately, the fight doesn’t stop there.
Because behind every rescue, there are then months of care, treatments and daily expenses.
Today, we already have many dogs placed in shelters and boarding facilities, for which we pay each month so they remain safe.
And for them too, needs are constant:
🦟 Scalibor collars
💊 Nexgard Spectra treatments
🍖 kibble and wet food
🏥 veterinary care
🩺 serology tests required for adoptions outside Morocco
We also have outstanding veterinary invoices, as well as debts to shelters and boarding facilities that we haven’t been able to pay these past months.
Among these cases was Moon… who sadly passed away, but whose bill is still unpaid.
And Khazan, who still requires significant care.
Every day we try to carry on despite exhaustion, despite debts, despite the fear of no longer being able to cope.
Because abandoning these animals now would be condemning them.
So we are asking for help.

Every donation will concretely save a life, prevent another birth, fill a bowl, fund a treatment or simply buy a little time for those who don’t have much left.
