After the Cévennes storm on 12 June 2020, Philippe Boyer, a farmer in Taleyrac in the Cévennes in the commune of Val d'Aigoual, found himself facing an unprecedented disaster.
On plots that have been in the family for over 3 generations, Philippe and his family grow the Cévennes sweet onion, but after the deluge on Friday 12 June, the work of a lifetime, as well as that of his ancestors, collapsed within a few hours.
Access paths, crossings, and a large part of the production have disappeared, the water carrying away everything in its path.
However, part of the crop could still be saved by repairing the access roads.
In addition to the repair work, the losses for this year will be very large: in total several tens of thousands of euros.
To limit the losses and save what can be saved, we are launching this fundraiser to support them by creating this emergency fund to address the most URGENT needs!
Every euro counts!
No donation is too small!
If you cannot give, please share this fundraiser to support them in this ordeal.
No need to create an account or sign up, it's quick and card payments are 100% secure.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT
