A majority of the mail carriers of Nanterre exercised a right of withdrawal for 10 days last October, in response to the imposition of the 'sécable' every day (unpaid work) and to intolerable pressures (18 reprimands issued to colleagues!).
La Poste deployed security guards, bailiffs, barred colleagues from accessing the center, then barred union representatives... The Labour Inspectorate nevertheless sided with the mail carriers and even issued a formal notice to La Poste, exposing it to criminal liability.
Rather than taking this formal notice into account... La Poste launched around ten dismissal procedures against the colleagues in Nanterre!
It deducted up to €600 from December paychecks!
La Poste has been taken to court.
