Assalamou'aleykoum wa rahmatouLLahi wa barakatouh

We are pleased to inform you that our association "Les Apprentis Sages" (formerly Madrassati Montessori), created by four mothers committed to the education and formation of tomorrow's adults, will open its first class from the start of the 2019 school year, bi idhniLLehi ta'ala.

An alternative class, putting into practice Montessori and Freinet pedagogy in the service of our beautiful religion. Giving children the opportunity to be active participants in their learning by becoming autonomous and learning differently with concrete and revolutionary methods!

Three main areas will be worked on during our workshops: the learning of the Arabic language, foundations of Islam and the Qur'an, all in a lively and concrete way thanks to educational tools and appropriate supervision.

Our goal is to change our approach to teaching, so that children can give meaning to what they learn, create a strong bond with Allah and the Qur'an, and prioritize the quality of teaching over quantity.

Having children who come to the mosque with pleasure, who keep a positive memory of their time spent in this place and who retain well-rooted teachings is a solid foundation for forming the Muslims of tomorrow and will be our greatest reward, insha'aLLah.

To carry out this project and equip our class, we need you!

Indeed, educational materials are fairly costly. Part will be financed by our upcoming workshops this summer but that will not be sufficient.

We are counting on you, generous donors, in this blessed month of Ramadan to help us launch this noble mission. By taking part in setting up our project, you contribute to the education and elevation of our children — what work could be more beautiful and noble than this sadaqa jariya!

If you cannot contribute financially, simply share this fundraiser and remember us in your prayers!

May Allah reward you and bless you abundantly.

Sincerely,

Les Apprentis Sages
