A devastating magnitude 7 earthquake struck Morocco on the night of Friday, September 8 to Saturday, September 9, 2023. This earthquake caused enormous material and human damage. The current toll of the earthquake is 2,122 dead and 2,421 injured, including 1,404 in serious condition, the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior reported.
Our association Human, in collaboration with several partners on site, is determined to provide emergency aid to the victims and their families. But we need you. Every donation can make a difference.
The epicenter of the tremor was located in Al-Haouz province, southwest of the city of Marrakech, but the shocks were felt in several cities across Morocco: Marrakech, Rabat, Casablanca, Ouarzazate, Agadir and Essaouira.
The main objective of this fundraiser is to mobilize funds to support relief and rehabilitation efforts in the areas hardest hit by the earthquake. We will strive to meet immediate needs, notably by providing food supplies, hygiene kits, clothing and other essential items to affected families.
Since 2009, Human has been committed to helping disaster-affected and disadvantaged populations around the world.
