Zakat al-Fitr, called "alms given to break the fast", is intended to purify the totality of acts of worship performed during the blessed month of Ramadan, and to spread joy among the needy, thereby allowing them to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr in better conditions.
It is calculated based on the number of individuals in the household. Currently, its amount is 9€ per person.
