Zakat al-Fitr, called "the alms for breaking the fast", is intended to purify all acts of worship performed during the blessed month of Ramadan, and to spread joy among the needy, thus allowing them to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in better conditions.
It is collected based on the number of individuals composing the household. Currently, its amount is €7 per person.
