Resistance is organizing at Le Carnet — the ZAD has been in place since 31 August, blocking machines' access to the Île du Carnet and halting the works!
But for the struggle to be sustained and to continue preventing the works to establish the industrial zone, we need your help!
Since 31 August, resistance against the forced concreting has taken root at Le Carnet. Barricades have been erected to protect the ĂŽle du Carnet from the bulldozer devastation that had been planned there.
This occupation of public space at the entrance to the ĂŽle du Carnet is the last resort to defend the reedbeds and their inhabitants of all skins: scaled, furred or feathered. It is the whole ĂŽle du Carnet that needs us to defend it today.
The ZAD at Le Carnet is a place of resistance, resilience and welcome for all people who wish to join! Daily life is organized there: the installation of shared living spaces thanks to donated and salvaged materials, collective kitchen, bike repair workshop, free-shop… Light self-built structures are being put in place to protect the inhabitants from rain and cold.

To protect against cold and rain and to help organize the struggle on site (constructions, tools, food…) and in the mobilization against the project (printing leaflets, posters…) while evacuation and the resumption of works can happen at any time, the struggle at Le Carnet needs financial support!
