The ZAD has been evicted but the resistance against the industrialization of the estuary at Le Carnet continues!
As long as the Grand Port has not definitively abandoned its development project for the Carnet site, we will be here to defend this island of the Loire! We will defend this island for its richness and its beauty and for all those spaces that today the port's capitalist model has swallowed under its embankments and its concrete.
We choose to oppose this destructive model with ways of life that are attentive to the living and collective, freed from all forms of oppression over our bodies, our genders, our races.
To continue this struggle, we commit ourselves daily to publicize the project, to expose the port's greenwashing, and to organize events open to everyone.
We must also manage the consequences of the ZAD eviction, namely the lack of a collective welcoming and accessible space and the support for the people who took risks to defend the island these past months.
In order to ensure vigilance on the Carnet, to live our resistance in a convivial and welcoming way, we are organizing the construction of a collective house for living and organizing: the house of resistance! Feel free to come to our collective work sites on weekends, to bring tools or friends you know ;)
To summarize, this fundraiser will be used to pay for printing, to buy equipment we could not recover, to reimburse event organization costs, to buy construction or communal living materials for the future site of struggle, and finally to feed the solidarity fund.
