Dear friends, dear donors, As Salamu 'aleykoum
Diata Moussala, my mother's village in Mali, is facing a vital emergency today. In this village, access to drinking water is a daily struggle.
Every day, it is the women and children who must bear the burden of this lack of infrastructure: they must walk long distances on foot to go to a neighboring village and hope to bring back water. An exhausting daily chore that endangers their health and deprives children of precious time for school.
🌍 Why this project?
Building a well directly in the heart of Diata Moussala will radically and sustainably change the daily life of its inhabitants:
- Direct and safe access to drinking water for the whole village.
- A huge relief for women and children, who will no longer have to walk kilometers under the sun.
- A clear improvement in local health and hygiene conditions.
- A real boost for education, allowing children to finally devote themselves to their studies.
The total cost of carrying out this project amounts to 6 000 €. Every donation, big or small, brings us a little closer to making this essential endeavor a reality.
