Winter is fast approaching and the falling temperatures do not spare people who sleep outdoors.
We are a group of friends living in Tours who decided to put part of our time at the service of people living on the street.
Our goal is to organize regular outreach rounds and to distribute according to needs:
- hygiene kits (shampoo, razor, toothpaste...)
- warm items (tent, warm socks, sleeping bags..)
- small refreshments (tea, coffee) in order to talk with our beneficiaries and gain better insight into their situation.
In addition to our personal donations, we would like to organize a collection so we can better meet their needs.
A donation, even a small amount, may seem negligible to us who are warm at home but can have a real impact on these people’s lives.
