Since the opening up of transport in Île-de-France to competition pushed by IDF Mobilité (Valérie Pécresse), public transport has continued to deteriorate (buses delayed or cancelled). The social damage and loss of wages suffered by bus drivers have caused this situation. There is a total LACK OF INTEREST IN THIS PROFESSION and therefore a shortage of drivers.
TRANSDEV having won the contract for the Fontainebleau area, the working conditions, social benefits and salaries of the drivers at this company will be severely affected.
After 6 weeks of rolling strike last year to denounce TRANSDEV's practices, the drivers and employees of the Vulaines depot are again on strike to defend their wages and denounce the unjust and brutal pension reform.
