My project is aimed at searching the seabed following certain reports resulting from events or observations of an unexplained nature directly or indirectly related to this environment.
To carry out the investigations we need equipment. An ROV (a Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle, or ROV) is a small underwater robot controlled remotely (generally tethered); unlike an autonomous underwater robot, it is ideal. The cost is very high: 10,000 euros. At this stage it is a high-performance tool for professional use.
Plan B :
There are also small affordable drones costing around 500 to 2,000 euros which are limited but can already be useful as a fallback plan — that is, if the sum of 10,000 euros is not reached or cannot be reached.
The tool that will be purchased will depend on the money raised.
The invoice will be detailed when the device is acquired and a photo will be available.
