Employees of the Bois Fleuri association (Marseille) are on strike to defend the quality of support for children in care and their working conditions.
They are mobilizing notably:
- against the chaotic closure of two services,
- against the austerity imposed on the association (around €1 million deficit, which affects young people and employees),
- for immediate hires,
- for teams to finally be heard when they raise alerts concerning children before tragedies occur
- so that workers are genuinely involved in the decisions that concern them.
The strike has a cost.
This strike fund aims to allow the strikers to hold out collectively over the long term, without facing salary losses alone.
The redistribution of the fund will be decided democratically by the strikers, during their assemblies, according to collective rules and with full transparency.
Anyone can contribute, whatever the amount.
