Assalamu alaykum
The start of the school year is fast approaching: on September 21, 2026, thousands of children in the wilaya of Tlemcen, Algeria, are set to return to school.
But for many of them, this return is a source of anxiety rather than joy.
These are children who have lost their father, may Allah have mercy on them, and who live with their mother alone, with no means to meet their needs.
Unlike children placed in orphanages, who receive state assistance, these families receive no support: no schoolbag, no notebooks, no pens — just a mother doing what she can, alone, for her children.
With this fundraiser, we want to give them what all children deserve: to go to school with their heads held high, with the necessary supplies to learn in decent conditions.
The goal of this fundraiser is to gather 50 people each donating 10€, for a total of 500€.
It is our collective generosity that will make the difference for these children before September 21.
Barak Allahu fikum for sharing this fundraiser with your network: the more of us there are, the more children we can help. 🤲
