Hello everyone,
I'm launching this fundraiser today for two of my cats who need thorough veterinary examinations and care: Bella and Gaston.
For Bella: She has been suffering from respiratory problems for some time. Despite two courses of antibiotics and corticosteroids, her breathing remains abnormal. She needs an ultrasound under sedation to understand what is really going on and to check her general condition (her coat hides how bad it is, but when I touch her I can feel that she is really very thin underneath).
For Gaston: Affected by a calicivirus, Gaston is eating well and hasn't lost weight, but he has not been grooming himself for some time and has large mats of fur on his back. An examination of his mouth under sedation is necessary to see where this problem comes from.
Both being over 10 years old, a blood test will also be carried out if the funds allow, in order to establish a complete health assessment.
This is not a life-threatening emergency and neither of them is in extreme distress, but these exams are essential for their comfort and health. At present, my already incurred expenses do not allow me to cover these veterinary procedures on my own.
Goal: 300 €
If the fundraiser exceeds the amount of the invoices or if the care proves to be less costly than expected, the surplus will be used entirely to purchase antiparasitic treatments (dewormers, flea treatments) for the cats on the grounds and those of the woman I care for.
