I took the initiative to create this fund to help Encarnación, a young Guatemalan woman I met during one of my trips and who welcomed me in her charming family (Lorenzo, her husband, and Francis and Kevin their young boys).
Encarnación needs to have a gallbladder operation soon and is unable to pay for the operation due to lack of money. Before Covid, she lived mainly from selling cloth to tourists but now has no source of income.
No matter how much money is raised, anyone can participate in this fund. No need to create an account or register, it's quick and the payments are secure.
